Careers in the Performing Arts Presents "WAITRESS"

Inspired by Adrienne Shelly’s beloved film, WAITRESS tells the story of Jenna – a waitress and expert pie maker – who dreams of a wayout of her small town and loveless marriage. A baking contest in anearby county and the town’s new doctor may offer her a chance ata fresh start, while her fellow waitresses offer their own recipes for happiness. But Jenna must summon the strength and courage to rebuild her own life.
Introduce your students to professionals from this Broadway show. Our guest panelists will discuss their careers, education, skills and the realities of working on a touring show. Your students will have the opportunity to interact with the panel and ask their own questions as well.
