In eastern Australia, more than 2500 people have had to flee the town of Saint George due to flooding. The Queensland region has been deluged with heavy rain for a full week, just as it was one year ago. Dangerous winter weather conditions in many European countries, including Poland, has caused problems for more than a week. Heavy snow has left villages in Italy paralyzed and powerless, and schools in Bosnia closed all week. In Austria, the Danube River is almost frozen, after days of below zero temperatures. In Serbia, the Belgrade Zoo is struggling to protect 2,000 animals in their care. In Spain, winter weather also closed roads
