Iraq Conducts Parliamentary Election Despite Series of Bombing Incidents

Iraq conducted another successful Parliamentary election on Sunday. The polls in Iraq's elections have closed, and thousands of workers are now counting the ballots. Many people came out to vote, despite a series of bombings across the country that morning. President Obama praised voters for their courage, and for their strong desire to have their voices heard. The vote could have an effect on the future of U.S. troops in Iraq. The Obama administration is planning to have all U.S. forces out of Iraq by the end of 2011.
