In China, the next celebration after the New Year is the lantern festival. On the night of the first full moon of the lunar New Year - this year it's February 28th - it's a tradition for people to walk about carrying lanterns, often shaped like the zodiac animal of that year. Not surprisingly, in the year of the tiger, tiger-shaped lanterns are the most popular.
