With billions of people watching around the globe, Canada is making a major statement about the country's relationship with its aboriginal people. Those would be members of groups that, in our country, we would call Native Americans. In Canada, they're referred to as "First Nations." They have been part of the planning with Vancouver organizers from the beginning.
