The 2010 Winter Olympics are underway in Vancouver, British Columbia. They began officially Friday night with a dramatic opening ceremony - held indoors because it rains a lot of the time in Vancouver. Weather has been a big factor in these games. On Tuesday, heavy snow caused the postponement of the downhill skiing on Whistler Mountain, while rain and fog are still delaying some of the outdoor races. Tragedy struck on the very first day when Georgian luger Nodar Kumaritashvili was killed during a practice run.
