Shaker Heights Students Raise Money for Hospital in Haiti

Students at several schools in Shaker Heights shared a great idea last week! Students at University School wanted to help repair the damage at the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in Haiti. They raised more than six thousand dollars in ten days. Students at the city's public schools also collected money. Fernway Elementary raised money for the hospital, and other schools raised money for other charities across Haiti - another $8,500 between them. What's really amazing is that none of the schools knew that other schools in Shaker were doing the exact same thing!

i think it was really sweet what the children did but my class would never have a pizza party we talk entirely 2much!
