Featured on Episode 17 of the 2009-2010 season
Ten black and white balls of fur made their public debut at the Shanghai Zoo last week. The one- and a half-year-old giant panda cubs were flown in from the Giant Panda Protection and Research Center in China's Sichuan province. Shanghai is the host city of the 2010 World Expo which runs from May 1st to October 31st. Zoo officials said it would be the largest display of giant pandas outside Sichuan, giving tens of millions of Chinese and foreign visitors to the Expo a glimpse at the highly endangered species.
