Featured on Episode 13 of the 2009-2010 season
The discussion continues in Copenhagen this week at the U.N. climate conference. Delegations from developing nations threatened to boycott the talks over the weekend. They were concerned that any new agreements would require them to cut their carbon emissions as much as richer nations. Talks resumed on Monday. Also over the weekend, tens of thousands of demonstrators organized marches. They took to the streets in hope of sending a message to the conference that they need to come up with a plan that will make a big difference in the rate of climate change.
