After 27 years, it seems that nothing can squash Palm Beach Atlantic University’s claim to fame – the Great American Bug Race. It’s always an important activity of the science club and homecoming week at this university in West Palm Beach, Florida. Kevin Sinicki has more on this creepy, crawly competition.

I wish I had a bug that I could enter in the race. I bet a bunch of the girls at my school would say “eewww!” I wonder if the bugs ever get stepped on. I think the bugs would just run away.
