Usually people try to stay out of the mud - but not when the Greater Columbia Marine Foundation hosts its annual Mud Run. The race at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina attracts thousands of people from all over the southeast. The Ultimate Challenge Mud Run covers 4.2 miles and has thirty obstacles that have to be crossed by each team. The trail includes mud holes, walls, trenches and other obstacles that require swimming, crawling, climbing and jumping. The race raises money to help marines and their families in the area.

wow that sounds fun, but my mom might get mad if i ruined any really good cloths. i hope they raised lots of money!!!!!!!!!!!
