Every where you turn, grownups are talking about the economy. So it might be a good idea to learn about managing money now - while you're still in school. Volunteers from Junior Achievement have been helping kids of all ages learn about money for years - volunteers like Matt Daugherty and kids like these second graders at Goldwood Primary School in Rocky River, Ohio.

Hi my name is Eden Dimitrov and today I learned how money was made. First coins are made at the United States Mint that we use to pay for things or to collect. The Dollar bills are made at the Bureau of Printing and Engraving in Washington D.C.. They print the money for the Federal Reserve Bank who then makes it available to the banks for use. They also print new money to replace old money that is torn.
