Troy Wagner's garden is on his roof. He's worked on his roof top garden in Seattle, Washington for five years. On one side, troy has planted spring flowers. Opposite them, he has prepared the soil for vegetables - including lima beans, radishes and green beans. And Troy takes his garden to new heights, with grass all the way to the roof top. Troy doesn't even try to mow it. Nature takes care of that. Troy says that green roofs help to reduce carbon emissions since they naturally make homes cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter, and green roofs help absorb rain water, reducing flooding.
