A powerful earthquake rocked central Italy on Monday, and rescue workers continue to search for the missing. The magnitude 6.3 earthquake struck the central Italian city of L’Aquila, which is about 75 miles east of Rome. Entire blocks were reduced to piles of rubble and dust. Italian Premier Silvio Berlusconi says that 260 people have died and more than a thousand people injured in the powerful quake.
