The Cuyahoga County Board of Health has launched a new website for tobacco free schools. The goal of the website is to encourage every school district in the county to enact a 100% tobacco free policy, which means no tobacco of any kind used by anyone, including adults and visitors, anywhere on school grounds. Since most people start smoking in their early teens, a tobacco-free school can prevent kids from starting by providing positive role modeling and a safe and healthy environment. So far about half of the county's school districts are tobacco free.
