Two girls caught in a riptide in California may owe their lives to a 12-year-old boy on a body board. Rocket Klein surfs at his favorite beach every day, and has learned by example from the life guards. The San Clemente body boarder has been through two summer of the city’s Junior Lifeguard program and was able to pull the two young teens to safety when they were pulled out to sea by a riptide.
