General Motors may be having major problems in the United States, but that’s not the case for the automaker in China where it’s making big bucks. John Vause reports from Shanghai that the GM plant there has two shifts on the clock, six days a week. First time buyers are driving sales in China, which went up 25% last month, helped by a cut in government taxes on smaller, more affordable cars and vehicle subsidies to farmers.
