Hillary Clinton arrived in Egypt Sunday to begin her week-long overseas trip. She attended an international conference in Egypt, and also visited Israel where she announced that the U.S. will pledge up to $900 million in aid to help with the rebuilding of Gaza, channeling the funds through the Palestinian Authority’s President Mahmoud Abbas rather than Hamas, which the U.S. considers a terrorist organization. Clinton’s trip will also include stops in Belgium.
