Six-year-old Darick Buhr got his 15 minutes of fame this Presidents Day holiday. The whiz-kid from Minnesota hit the big time on The Rachael Ray Show with his presidential knowledge. Darick can’t tie his shoes yet, but he can name all of the 44 presidents, in order, in less than a minute.
Presidential History from the White House
This lesson will focus on memory and how students can learn the key concepts that can help them learn and remember long lists and improve their memory.
Grades: 3rd Grade
Subjects: Language Arts
Standards Addressed: Students will demonstrate a growing stock of sight words and remember them.
