Twenty eight young Toledo-area actors have the opportunity of a lifetime this week, as they go from audition to performance in just four days. The kids, who are mostly age eight to eleven, auditioned for parts in a shortened version of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" on Monday. They will have twenty hours of rehearsal before they hit the boards Friday night with their first performance. The production is coordinated by Children's Stage Adventures, a New Hampshire non-profit organization that provides week-long production workshops for kids. The Ohio Theatre in North Toledo is the setting for this week's production.
