A rare image of President Lincoln went on display Sunday at the George Eastman House in Rochester, New York. The photo dates from 1860 and is said to be Lincoln's favorite portrait. The image will get a facelift while at the museum, as part of a two-year conservation treatment program.

Students will learn more about the importance of preserving historically significant and unique photographic artifacts from our past, for our future. There are also resources to help teachers and students celebrate Lincoln’s Bicentennial.
