It was wild at the London Zoo last week. Zookeepers take stock of their critters once a year, and the question is - - will the animals cooperate? Lonzo Cook shows us how zookeepers manage a menagerie.
In today’s activities and lessons, students will be using math to help the zookeepers count, graph, and organize their findings.
Grades: 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade
Subjects: Science
Standards Addressed: Students will be able to model and use the commutative and associative properties for addition; add whole numbers with and without regrouping; read, interpret and construct bar graphs with intervals greater than one.
