There's a new self-help book hitting the shelves called "How to Talk to Girls." It offers all kinds of helpful advice as long as you don't mind getting your advice from an eight-year-old! Kim Christiansen introduces us to the pint-sized author. And Alec Greven isn't done yet. He's working on new book -- "How to Talk to Moms."

Activities will challenge students to identify difficulties they may have communicating with peers, family members, and adults. They will be encouraged to work on developing their communication and conversation skills.
Grades: 3rd Grade, 4th Grade, 5th Grade, 6th Grade, 7th Grade, 8th Grade
Subjects: Language Arts
Standards Addressed: Students will generate writing through discussion with others and from printed materials.
Students will learn to communicate effectively through exposure to good models and opportunities for practice.
