A dog named Zeke got himself into a big jam the day after Thanksgiving. He got himself trapped in a drainage pipe after chasing an animal. A sewer company crew found Zeke using a camera designed to see into pipes. Workers dug a new hole about twenty feet behind the dog, and managed to get him to back his way out to freedom. Zeke was trapped down there for five days and came out coated in mud and smelling awful, his owner said. Zeke is a therapy dog who likes to visit schools and nursing homes. He's doing much better now after some food and a good bath. The men of the sewer company, Dreier & Maller Inc., were kind enough to donate the time they spent rescuing Zeke.
