Question #1:
President-elect Obama has appointed a former political rival to his cabinet. Who will be his Secretary of State?
Answer: Hillary Clinton.
Question #2:
Pakistan is located in south Asia, bordered by Iran, Afghanistan, China and India. What major river runs through the center of Pakistan to the Arabian Sea?
Answer: The Indus River.
Question #3:
Rockets carry their own solid or liquid fuel which they burn in order to propel themselves into space. How does this actually make a rocket move?
Answer: The force of the hot burning gases blasting out of the rocket in one direction make the rocket move in the opposite direction. (This is physics – Newton’s third law of motion, which says “for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.")

The Big Three American auto companies are asking the government for financial help. What are the three companies?
Answer: General Motors, Ford, Chrysler.
Question #2:
The astronauts on Space Shuttle Endeavour said they’re taking home improvement to a new level. What sort of improvements are they bringing to the International Space Station?
Answer: Bigger refrigerator, bathroom, bedrooms, new water purification system, new exercise equipment.
Question #3:
The government in the southern China province of Guangdong has built a new and unusual energy plant. What does it burn to create energy?
Answer: Garbage.
