The students at Dover South Elementary gave us one more election story. All of the students in grades one through five had a mock election in which small groups of voters were assigned to a state, and filled out a state ballot. Barack Obama won the popular vote in twenty eight states, garnering two hundred eighty one electoral votes. The kids also made a map with the states in red and blue so they could compare their results to the grown-up results.
