Nearly one hundred teenagers got together in Shaker Heights last weekend, to help poor children who live far away from Ohio. The teenagers and some families walked up to three miles each, raising money to assist children who live at an orphanage in the Central American country of Honduras. Honduras is about the same size as Ohio, but it is a very poor nation. Many of the teens have been visiting the Flor Azul orphanage near the village of Nuevo Paraiso, since 2005. They teach in their school, and help build things for them -- including a dormitory, a pond to grow fish for them to eat, and a greenhouse. But it takes a lot of money so the teens created the Family Fun Walk in October to support their work. People come from all around Greater Cleveland to help out.
