In recent weeks, Obama has been pulling ahead of McCain in states where he has to win - like Ohio. The latest poll shows Obama beating McCain 48 to 40 percent here. Experts say McCain is having a tough time because of the economy. When Americans have money trouble they tend to vote against the party in power. That's bad news for John McCain because like President Bush, he's a Republican. But McCain has made huge comebacks before and says he likes to be the underdog.
