Featured on Episode 30 of the 2007-2008 season
On Monday in Washington DC, truckers who rely on transportation to make their living protested high gas prices. About 350 vehicles drove past the Capitol and White House, blasting their horns, hoping Congress will regulate trucker fees and stop aiding big oil companies. Each presidential candidate has vowed to do something about gas prices. Senator Barack Obama wants to make sure that whatever they decide to do will actually help. Bob Lee has decided to ride his horse to work. He says not a single day goes by that his co-workers aren't complaining about the expense of gasoline. Bob knows his one-man protest won't make a huge difference, but maybe it will save him a few dollars - and keep his horse exercised!
