Kids like Katie are the reason that Dan decided to go bald too. Dan shaved his head this week to raise money for research into childhood cancer. On St. Patrick's Day, he was part of an event called St. Baldrick's. People gave donations to support his effort. More than a hundred people shaved their heads at the event in Cleveland--at a restaurant called AJ Rocco's. Dan’s friends and family helped him to raise over $5,000. The Cleveland event raised almost $130,000! Around the world, there were 485 head shaving events and when it's all done, they expect they will have raised close to $15 million.
