In Baltimore, Maryland, they’re thinking about skiing, sort of. The mayor of Baltimore met with a private firm to discuss the possibility of putting gondolas – airlifts usually used at ski resorts – in the city’s Inner Harbor. The mayor thinks the gondolas will be environmentally friendly and connect riders to the city’s light rail.
