A rare type of heart surgery took place last Saturday for a young patient who traveled more then two thousand miles for the chance at a healthier life. The patient named Chewey will go home soon, wagging his tail. Jeff Hirsh tells us about a dog with a special mission in life. Chewey, a six-month old Labrador retriever, has started training with Autism Service Dogs of America to be a therapy dog for an autistic child, but he has been diagnosed with a rapid heartbeat. Dr. Kathy Wright, a veterinary cardiologist, is the only doctor who performs a corrective surgery – called radiofrequency catheter ablation - for this problem in North America.
