Imagine so much snow that you're trapped in your own house - for weeks at a time! Northern New Mexico has been slammed with five feet of snow - and it keeps falling! The town of Chama has almost 1300 trapped families - and it's been a month since they declared a state of emergency! Residents have been shoveling snow up high, so their roofs won't collapse. Mayor Chama was hiring anybody who had a shovel or a tool at ten dollars an hour to help dig out - but they can't afford that anymore. The state of New Mexico says it will send $500,000 to help in the clean up.
