Ohio State University hoped to avenge last year's loss in the BCS national championship game, taking on the Louisiana State University Tigers this week, almost in their own back yard at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans. The Buckeyes got off to a great start in the "Big Easy" when "Beanie" Wells ran sixty five yards for a touchdown. But then the Tigers took charge, and LSU beat the Buckeyes by a score of thirty-eight to twenty-four.
