Burr Road Middle School in Wauseon has its very own therapy dog. Kramer the labradoodle was trained by Assistance Dogs of America in Swanton, Ohio. He lives with principal Joe Friess, but Kramer belongs to all the students and staff at the school. Kramer will always be ready to listen, wag his tail, and make his fellow students feel better. There is a $25 application fee to assistance dogs of America, but no charge to schools for the dogs. Kramer is one of several therapy dogs at schools in northwest Ohio.
