You may have heard of therapy dogs who visit patients in hospitals. The Wadsworth Public Library has invited three therapy dogs into their children’s department. Since dogs are such good listeners, Brodie, Elmo and Sonnet listen to stories read by children and give them positive feedback with doggie kisses and wagging tails. Brodie, a golden retriever, is owned by Linda Warner, a library staff member and president of Wooster-based Caring Therapy Canines. Brodie, Elmo and Sonnet will listen to your stories at the library on the second Saturday of each month from 10am to noon.
