The Mars Reconnaissance Rover sent back some stunning new pictures from space this week. The pictures, taken along the edge of the Victorian Crater, revealed large deposits of ice - so much ice, in fact, that if it were to melt, it would cover the red planet in thirty six feet of water! Scientists have been looking for water on mars, because its presence could indicate life on our red neighbor. http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/mars/news/mars-20070315.html
