Vets at the Oregon Zoo had their work cut out for them – performing surgery on an elephant named Tuskgo. The doctors worked for five grueling hours trying to remove an infected tusk. They will have to follow up with another quicker surgery to remove the last piece of tusk. Tuskgo broke both of his tusks in the 1970s, and his right tusk was removed years ago. http://www.oregonzoo.org/
