McDonald’s has selected a new trans-fat free oil to use for their fries. The new oil is canola-based and also includes a mix of corn and soy oils. McDonald’s is testing the new oil in 1,200 restaurants. No word yet on when the new oil will be used in all of the more than 13,000 McDonald’s restaurants in the United States.
