Hundreds of celebrants donned in green lined up along Superior Avenue today as the 147th annual St. Patrick's Day parade began, with dozens of civic, cultural, and municipal groups marching to Celtic music. Officials present included Mayor Frank Jackson and Ohio Senator Rob Portman. The conditions were brisk...temps hovered around 30 with a noticeable, chilly breeze. But many people cheered on the stream of musicians, soldiers, police, and community activists as they marched along the parade route.
