Mary Shaffer of the RTA says as of start of service this morning, all Rapids (including all Red and Waterfront Line) are served by trains and up and running, as are all bus routes. In an emailed release, she adds: "Thanks for our customers' patience and of course for the warmer temps!"
Earlier this week, it almost seemed the Regional Transit Authority had met its match in an intense mass of dangerously cold arctic air that whooshed down from western Canada. Line disruptions and traffic played their part, but now it seems the system is back online and people are getting to their destinations once more.
Operators say rtaride.com is a site that lets you check on the arrival status of any RTA bus or train.
