Kasich Signs Budget Update Bill, Hastening Income Tax Cut and Doubling EITC

"I like the standard deduction provision and of course the EITC," Kasich said. "But it's also the rate comes down and for small business. Now i think the biggest question going forward is tax reform, because these rates have got to come down. But that will be a question for another day."

Kasich signed the bill in the headquarters of the Mid-Ohio Food Bank, to draw attention to the provisions that help lower-income taxpayers.
