How many shopping malls and centers populate Greater Cleveland? Certainly more than you can name, which makes it difficult for any one center to stand out. Some retailers are increasingly focusing on image and ambience to bring customers into their new venues. Take the recently opened Legacy Village Lifestyle Center in Lyndhurst, designed to simulate the look and feel of a small colonial town. But as ideastream's Rick Jackson points out, there's nothing quite like the real thing, which is what has developers in the Summit County town of Hudson going the extra mile to preserve a heritage that dates back 200 years.
