Signs Of Improvement In NE Ohio Jobless Rate

The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services says unemployment rates in most Northeast Ohio counties in October were substantially below the statewide jobless rate of 10.5%. New numbers were released this morning, and show wide variations WITHIN the state. Three Northeast Ohio counties were among only six with rates below 8%, while the city of Cleveland had a 10.5% unemployment rate in October, and the city of Akron had a 10.4% jobless rate.
