So the summer's almost over, the kids have enough homework to keep them inside long after dark - which itself gets earlier and earlier each day. Have you ever considered that not having the kids outside is detrimental to their health, physical and mental? Richard Louv has. He's written about the need to get kids out into nature. He's the author of seven books about nature, family, and our communities.
