On Saturday Cedar Point is holding what will likely be its last job fair before opening on May 10. It's goal is to fill a total of about 5,000 seasonal positions.
Spokesman Bryan Edwards says Cedar Point’s job fairs attracts people from every age level, and many leave with a job in hand.
“We’ll have probably close to a dozen hiring managers conducting these interviews, and from all different departments,” Edwards says.
“We’ll have representatives there from our foods department, from our operations department, from safety, maintenance, live entertainment, marketing, you name it,” he says. You have the chance to go to the open interview session and apply for a job. And you have the chance of getting hired right on the spot.”
Cedar Point spokesman Bryan Edwards says about a dozen hiring managers will be on hand for interviews, and if a job seeker makes a good impression, he or she may leave with a job in hand.
Edwards says Cedar Point wants employees that give visitors the very best experience possible, so the job interviews are taken very seriously.
“We do face to face interviews with every single person we hire here at Cedar Point.,” he says, adding “Hiring 5,000 people is no easy task.”
The job fair will be held at Cedar Point’s Castaway Bay Water Park Saturday from 11am to 7 pm.
