The Cuyahoga County medical examiner has released the causes of death for the three women whose bodies were found in East Cleveland last weekend.

The medical examiner found that Shirellda Terry, 18, and Angela Deskins, 38, were both strangled to death. Shetisha Sheeley, 28, was killed by violence that the medical examiner did not specify.

Michael Madison, a registered sex offender, has been charged in the deaths and is in custody.

A memorial service was held for Deskins on Friday afternoon. Friends, family and community members gathered for a vigil Friday evening to remember Terry. Sunday afternoon, an East Cleveland church will hold a commemoration for all three women.
