State Eliminates West Nile Virus Testing Due to Federal Funding Cuts

For years, the Ohio Health Department has tested mosquitoes sent in by local health officials to see if the insects were carrying West Nile Virus, which bug bites can transmit to humans. This year, though, the state agency is dropping the tests due to federal money cuts. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports.
