The Cleveland foundation today announced its largest gift to date to an arts organization - a $10M grant to the Cleveland Orchestra for its Sound For the Centennial campaign. It's part of a record grant-making quarter for the Cleveland foundation, totaling 26.6 million dollars. ideastream's Bill Rice spoke with the foundation's Executive Vice President Bob Eckardt about philanthopy's recovery from the Great Recession and the orchestra grant.
