Democrats Want New Process For Choosing State’s Top Watchdog

The job of Ohio’s Inspector General is to investigate suspicions of corruption and wrongdoing in all the cabinet-level agencies the governor oversees. At the same time, the IG is appointed by the governor. Some Democrats in the legislature are charging the current inspector general isn’t doing a good job….and they’re calling for changing how the IG is chosen. Statehouse correspondent Bill Cohen reports.
